Kate Moss sat in the front row yesterday for Vivienne Westwood's fashion show in London before heading backstage to pose with the designer. She's no stranger to a catwalk, but apparently this is the first LFW presentation Kate's attended in nearly two years. Joining her for the special occasion were Mischa Barton, Pam Anderson and Dita Von Teese. It's nice to see that after a few years of madness, the caring and still trendsetting Kate made her way back to Fashion Week.

A bunch of authors of young adult books got together on the Internet and created a new social networking site, because there really aren't enough of those things floating these days (young adult writers or social networking sites, obviously).

As we reported earlier, Travis Barker and celebrity music spinner, DJ AM were critically injured after their Learjet 60 crashed during takeoff from South Carolina's Columbia Metropolitan Airport, just before midnight on Friday. The plane was headed for Van Nuys, CA.

The former Blink 182 drummer, Baker, and DJ AM are in critical condition and being treated for severe burns at an Augusta, Georgia burn center.

Barker was transported by ground to the burn facility from the site of the crash.

In the fall 2001, Conde Nast shuttered the magazine Mademoiselle, the lady's lifestyle magazine helmed by Mandi Norwood. After a 66-year-history, the magazine fell to the wayside thanks to titles like Sassy and Jane (both shaped by Jane Pratt), which ushered in the notion of "transparency," where a magazine's editors talked with you, not at you.

Now, seven years later, the magazine gets the appropriate postmortem, with the book Thin Is the New Happy, from former mastheader Valerie Frankel.

The fourth season of CW's scariest episodic weekly thriller, Supernatural, has really upped the ante this fall with Biblical ambitions.  Angels have entered the picture and with them is the Almighty One Himself.
